1) Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how August Interactive, Inc. © 2025 ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website at https://augustinteractive.gg/, the Military Esports League website at https://militaryesportsleague.com/, and early-access sign-ups (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy"). Beyond the Privacy Policy, your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms & Conditions.

2) What we collect

We may collect a variety of information from or about you or your devices from various sources, as described below.

A. Information you provide to us

Registration. When you opt in to receive early access updates and announcements, we collect your name and email. When you sign up for our events, we may collect your name, email, username on communication platforms (e.g., Discord and Twitch), and in-game name. We may also collect any other information you choose to provide to us, including information related to your military service.

Communications. If you contact us directly, we may receive information about you, such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of a message or attachments that you may send to us, and other information you choose to provide. When we send you communications that you request from us, we may use embedded pixels or other technologies to track information about your receipt and interaction with our emails, your General Location Information (described below), and your Device Information (described below) to learn how to deliver a better experience and improve our Services.

B. Information we collect when you use our Services

General location information. When you use our Site, we may receive your location information (for example, your IP address may indicate your general geographic region).

Device information. We receive information about the device and software you use to access our Services, including IP address, device type, device identifiers, web browser type and version, operating system version, and other technical details.

Technical data. We receive your basic device/usage information via analytics and security tools (see “Cookies & Tracking”). This may include information about your interactions with our Services, such as the pages or other content you view and the dates and times of your visits.

C. Information we receive from other sources

Third parties. We may receive additional personal information about you from third parties, such as marketing and event partners and combine it with other information we have about you.

3) How we use your information

  • To send early access information, event news, and relevant announcements.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Services (including basic analytics and anti-spam).
  • To personalize your experience on our Services such as by providing tailored content and recommendations.
  • To understand and analyze how you use our Services and develop new events, features, and functionality.
  • To communicate with you, respond to inquiries, and provide support.
  • For marketing and advertising purposes, such as developing and providing promotional and advertising materials that may be relevant, valuable, or otherwise of interest to you.
  • To generate anonymized or aggregated data for any lawful purposes.
  • To find and prevent fraud and abuse, and respond to trust and safety issues that may arise.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
  • For other purposes for which we provide specific notice at the time the information is collected.

4) Service providers & processing locations

Partners and Affiliates. We may disclose any information we receive to our current or future partners and affiliates for any of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Vendors and Service Providers. We may disclose the information we receive to vendors and services providers retained in connection with the operation of our Services. We use trusted third parties to operate the Services, including:

  • Google Cloud (including Cloud Run) and Google Sheets — hosting and storage.
  • Apollo.io — email delivery and campaign management.
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — basic website analytics (no ads/remarketing).
  • Google reCAPTCHA — bot/spam protection on forms.

These providers process data on our behalf under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.

Analytics partners. We use analytics services such as Google Analytics to collect and process certain analytics data. You can learn more about Google’s practices by visiting https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

Advertising partners. We work with third-party advertising partners to collect and process your information in order to show you ads that we think may interest you. Some of our advertising partners are members of the Digital Advertising Alliance (https://optout.aboutads.info) and serve ads through cookie-based technologies. Please visit their opt-out pages to learn about how you may opt out of receiving certain web-based personalized ads from member companies.

As required by law and similar disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena, respond to your requests, or protect your, our, or others’ rights, property, or safety.

Merger, sale, or other asset transfers. We may transfer your information to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with a company, or we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our assets.

Consent. We may also disclose your information with your permission.

5) Cookies & tracking

We and our third-party partners collect information about your activities on our Services using cookies, pixel tags, SDKs, or other tracking technologies. Our third-party partners, such as analytics, advertising, and security partners, may also use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across different services. These include the following:

  • Google Analytics (GA4). We use GA4 to understand site usage (e.g., page views) without ads or remarketing features. GA may set cookies or read device identifiers. You can control cookies via your browser.
  • Google reCAPTCHA. Our forms use reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse. reCAPTCHA collects device/usage data subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

6) Your rights & choices

  • Location information. You can prevent your device from sharing precise location information at any time through your device’s operating system settings.
  • Marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from our promotional emails via the link provided in the emails. Even if you opt out of receiving promotional messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us.
  • Do not track. There is no accepted standard on how to respond to Do Not Track signals, and we do not respond to such signals.

7) Third parties

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to your activities on these third-party services or any information you disclose to these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

8) Retention

We retain your email address only as long as necessary to provide early-access updates and operate the Services, to comply with legal obligations, and to maintain security. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion at any time.

9) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards (e.g., HTTPS, limited access, secured infrastructure). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10) International transfers

Our Services are hosted in the United States ("U.S.") and intended for visitors located within the U.S. If you choose to use our Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the U.S. for storage and processing. We may also transfer your data from the U.S. to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating our Services. By providing any information, including personal information, on or through our Services, you consent to such transfer, storage, and processing.

11) Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you learn that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy, then you may alert us at privacy@augustinteractive.gg.

12) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
